Advantix Film Scanning Service

by | Oct 5, 2023 | Miscellaneous | 2 comments

Kodak Advantix film, also known as Advanced Photo System (APS), was introduced by Eastman Kodak Company in 1996. It was a revolutionary film format that aimed to simplify photography for consumers.

Advantix film came in a cartridge that was loaded into the camera, making it easy to use and eliminating the need for manual film threading. It featured three different image formats: Classic, HDTV, and Panoramic, offering photographers the flexibility to capture different perspectives.

The film cartridges also stored information about exposure settings, such as date, time, and lighting conditions. This data was recorded on the film itself, allowing for easier printing and organizing of photos.

However, with the rise of digital photography in the early 2000s, the popularity of Advantix film declined. Eastman Kodak Company discontinued Advantix film production in 2011. Most recently the nostalgia and love for film photography have led to a resurgence in interest in Advantix film, with some photographers still using it today to capture the retro charm of the 90s and early 2000s.

      Hello Rob,
Just click on the link here https://photo60studio.com/product/aps-film-scanning-advantix/ to select your advantix film scanning options. At the bottom for “Add to Cart” type in the quantity of Advantix Film Canisters that you need scanned. Once you checkout you will recieve an order number. That order number has all your contact and order details.

Next place all your canisters in a sturdy box. Advantix film is resilent in delivery travel. Since they are contained inside the canisters. Crumple up some news papers and fill in the empty spaces around the Advantix film canisters. Take up tjhe box securely and then write your order number on the outside of the box in 2 seperate spaces (thats cause sometimes the shipping people places a shipping label over the order number).

Then ship your box to 2602 Morse Lane, Woodbridge VA 22192. It’s that simple. Any further questions you can call me at 571-572-3026
